ADAM "PADRE"
ATKINSON
Adam is a Vicar in the East End of London, connecting with the three main communities in his parish: the really poor, really cool and really Muslim - where his beard helps reach across all three. Through his leadership of the charity "Spear" he is helping young people in his parish to gain and stay employed. As he is now 50 the exercise will do him good...and he will be doing good as well!.
WILL "BAGGY" ATKINSON
Will playing catch up. Having been heavily into sports when younger, multiple injuries and operations had left a great number of excuses not to do this challenge. The thought of not doing it over rode everything. Now a Director of a mobile technology company based in Lancashire (a long way from Sahara acclimatisation training!) the focus is on raising money for some great causes and simply giving back after so many years of watching others put in their hard yards.
MARCUS "NEBS" ATKINSON
Marcus is the baby of the bunch at 45 years young. He’s completed numerous triathlons and half marathons and will also be taking on Hadrian’s Wall in June a mere 100km in 24 hours is the plan. Working in the classic car community he is marketing director of Hagerty the UKs leading insurance specialist for classic cars. So, when not running and training, he's often seen whizzing about in the Team Atko Mini Cooper S (co owned with Baggy) on various rallies.
